Careers
Talkify is a small, remote-first company. We hire slowly, give people real ownership, and prefer clear writing over long meetings. This page explains how we work and how to get in touch — even when no role is open.
How we work
- Remote by default. The team is spread across time zones, so most communication is written and asynchronous.
- Small teams, wide scope. Engineers here touch product, infrastructure and support tooling in the same month.
- Ship and measure. We prefer a small release this week over a perfect release next quarter.
- Respect for users. Voice is personal. Privacy, consent and clear pricing are product requirements, not afterthoughts.
Open roles
We do not have any open positions right now. When a role opens it is published on this page with the team, the location policy and the salary range. We do not use recruiters or agencies for these hires.
What we look for
- Evidence of work you have shipped — a product, a repository, a published project or a clear case study.
- Comfort with ambiguity: you can turn a rough problem into a small, testable plan.
- Written communication good enough that a teammate can act on it without a meeting.
- Care for the details users feel: latency, error messages, invoices, accessibility.
How hiring works
- Introduction — a short conversation about your experience and what you want to build.
- Practical exercise — a paid, realistic task based on our actual product, not a puzzle.
- Team conversations — two or three calls with the people you would work with daily.
- Offer — written, with salary, time zone expectations and start date.
We aim to finish the whole process within three weeks and we tell every candidate where they stand.
Speculative applications
If your skills match the product but no role is listed, send an introduction through the contact page. Tell us what you would work on first, and include links to relevant work. We keep strong introductions on file and reach out when a role opens.
Equal opportunity
We evaluate candidates on their work and their ability to do the job. We do not discriminate on the basis of nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation or any other protected characteristic, and we make reasonable adjustments at any stage of the process — just ask.
